The Elixir Club conducted a competition on the topic ‘Vodka’ on 30^th of June 2014 with the intention to improve the theoretical knowledge of the elixirites.Jarad D’souza of III semester was declared as the winner.

Logos on Spirits of the World

A quiz on  logos of different alcoholic beverages was conducted by The Elixir Club on 27^th of June 2014.15 teams participated for the event.Sagar Stanly and Jayadeep K.V of V semester emerged as the winners.

The Elixir Club conducted a competition on the topic ‘Tequila’ on 23^rd of June 2014 with the intention to improve the theoretical knowledge of the elixirites.Gavin D’mello of III semester was declared as the winner.

‘U.S National Martini Day’ observed

On 19^th of June 2014 the elixirites observed ‘U.S National Martini Day’. As a part of this initiative, a counter was set with the details pertaining to the gin based cocktail. 

‘Collage @ College’

Team Elixir organised a collage competition titled, ‘Collage @ College’ on 17^th of February 2014.The participants were given the topic, ‘India-A Nation with many emotions’. The collage was judged on the basis of neatness and relevance to the topic.Akash K.Shetty of VIII semester was the co-ordinator of the event.

A tribute to late actress Shirley Temple Black

‘The Elixir’ Club paid homage to the late actress Shirley Temple Black on 14^th of February 2014 by setting a counter and displaying the mocktail, ‘Shirley Temple’.

It’s Cocktail-4

Black Velvet, Dry Martini, Harvey Wallbanger, Blue Blazer, Romeo & Juliet, The Incredible Hulk and Arc’s Magic captivated the minds of SIHAites on 29^th of January 2014 at the ‘Training Restaurant’. The elixirites arranged counters, displayed the cocktail of their choice and narrated the history along with its recipe to the viewers.

Carte de Nöel

Carte de Nöel, Christmas card making competition was organised by The Elixir Club on 19th of December 2013.The handmade cards of the participants were judged on the basis of creativity, colour combination and message.

Santa is making Cocktail-III

On 19^th of December 2013, The Elixir Club’s cocktail making event, ‘Santa is making cocktail’ was conducted at the ‘Time Out’ cafeteria of SIHA. 4 elixirites disguised themeselves as Santaclaus prepared their cocktails and waited for the final judgement.Mr.Terence Rodrigues adjudged the cocktails on the basis of taste, creatitivity and overall presentation.The participants came up with fancy names for their innovative cocktails such as Christmas with a twist, Lytchee Xmas, Mulled wine and The Red Christmas.This event enhanced the creativity of the participants and motivated them to participate for such events in the future.

Guess the brand name contest

Guess the brand name contest was organized by The Elixir Club on 13^th of December 2013.

Spot the logo competition

The Elixir Club conducted spot the logo competition on 7^th of December 2013.The participants had to identify the logo displayed on the screen and write the brand name.

Azaadi 2 –Display of 7 Indian state flags

Azaadi 2 was conducted by ‘The Elixir Club’ on 20^th of August 2013 as a part of Independence Day celebrations. The elixirites exhibited the flags of 7 Indian states in the form of layered drinks. The state flags of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh were displayed.
