THE ELIXIR’S CRISTALERIA

It was indeed a great contest witnessed by the SIHA audience on 4th of February 2012 at 10.30 a.m in the Training Restaurant. After ‘Servellitero’ 2011, it was ‘Cristaleria’ 2012 that gripped the attention of the audience. 3 elixirites competed with each other to identify 35 bar glassware within the shortest possible time. As a result, a new record was born by surpassing all the parameters set by the event co-ordinator.Audience were requested to change the sequence of the bar glassware. In spite of that, Rinnumon Joseph of II semester BHM, an active elixirite identified 37 bar glassware in just 51 seconds.Amal Jose and Prachalitha identified 37 glasses and 33 glasses respectively. The timing was 1 minute and 2 seconds and the latter took 54 seconds for the same. The event was organised by Varghese Johnson, The club director of ‘The Elixir’.

MOVIE SHOWS –ON ALL TUESDAYS & SATURDAYS

On all Tuesdays and Saturdays of a week, ‘The Elixir’ club will be initiating movie shows for the students of SIHA.On all Tuesdays, wine educational movies and on Saturdays, English comedy movies will be shown at the SIHA Seminar Hall.The ticket charges are as follows-
For Elixirtes-Rs.15 (per head with 1 mocktail complimentary)
For Non-Elixirtes- Rs.20 (per head with 1 mocktail complimentary)

‘I AM AN INDIAN’-ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION

14 students participated for an essay writing competition organised by ‘The Elixir’ club of SIHA on account of India’s 63rd Republic Day on 31-01-2012 at 3 P.M.The event was named as ‘I AM AN INDIAN’ and all the participants were informed to write on the topic, ‘My role as an Indian’. The prizes will be distributed to the winners during ‘Vencedor’, the valedictory function of The Elixir.

‘PRANAM’-A TRIBUTE TO MAHATMA GANDHI

‘The Elixir’ club of SIHA organised a slide show and quiz competition in accordance to the 64th martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi on 31st of January 2012. The slide show featured the famous quotes of the ‘Father of Nation’ and was closely followed by a barrage of questions related to Gandhiji’s life. The objective of the quiz competition was to encourage the students of SIHA to understand the life and mission of Mahatma Gandhi.
