IT’S COCKTAIL-2

Sazerac, Death in the afternoon, Tom Collins, Zombie, Mojito, Grave digger, Mai-Tai, Daiquiri, Singapore Sling etc.captivated the minds of audience on 17th of December 2011 at the ‘Training Restaurant’ of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, Mangalore. ‘The Elixir Club’ conducted ‘It’s Cocktail-2’, a sequel to ‘It’s Cocktail’ which became the pride of all elixirites last year. This time 9 cocktail counters were arranged and the elixirites narrated the history along with its recipe to the viewers.

GANADORES-2011’ ORGANISED

‘The Elixir Club’ of Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, Mangalore organised ‘Ganadores-2011’, an intercollegiate F&B Service quiz competition on 17th of December 2011.A total of 7 team participated for the competition and only 4 were selected for the final round of ‘Ganadores-2011’.The quiz featured the following rounds-The Basics, Wines of the world, Spirits of the world, Cocktails of the world and The Visual Round. Students from Srinivas College of Hotel Management, Mangalore were crowned as ‘Ganadores -2011’ and the II prize was bagged by Vijayalakshmi Institute of Hospitality Sciences, Mangalore. The valedictory function of witnessed.Ms.Indira Kandaswamy, Principal, Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration witnessed the valedictory function of ‘Ganadores-2011’ and gave a motivational speech to all the participants.

AIDS AWARENESS CARTOONS

On account of ‘World Aids Day’, the elixirites displayed 10 cartoons pertaining to AIDS in order to create awareness among SIHA inmates.

The Elixir's Illuminar

The oath taking ceremony, Illuminar of the new board members of 'The Elixir' Club (Dec 2011- Mar 2012) was conducted on 5th of December 2011 @ SIHA Seminar Hall.Ms.Indira K.S, Principal of our college was the chief guest.As the Principal initiated the oath-taking, a quiet dignified pride and a sense of accomplishment reflected on the faces of our new board members.Mr.Akash Shetty of IV semester BHM welcomed the gathering and Mr.Ryan Savio of final semester delivered the 'Vote of Thanks'.
